Ofcourse you can re-use your sandwich bag a few times, but then you are still not really environmentally friendly. If you want to be just that, consider the new Mealkit Bio from Light My Fire. For more information …. read the article below!
Light My Fire has been making very practical lunch sets for some time. But new is that the Mealkit Bio is not only a practical, but also a very environmentally friendly lunchset.
Biobased Plastic
The set is made of so-called biobased plastic. This is a plastic in which mais, sugarcane and cellulose are used. The material is 100% recyclable; making this lunch set a great choice in the fight against disposable crockery and disposable cutlery. Light My Fire uses since the beginning of 2019 only biobased plastics. 100% recyclable or reusable material has also been chosen for the packaging.
Dishwasher safe
The MealKit consists of 1 lid that functions as a plate (500 ml), 1 deep bottomed bowl that also functions as a plate (900 ml), 1 SnapBox Original (170 ml) food storage container, a SnapBox Oval (320 ml) storage container, 1 Pack-up-Cup (260 ml), 1 cutting board/strainer, and 1 Light My Fire Spork Original. The latter is a knife, spoon and fork in one tool. The set is light and compact and ideal for traveling during your vacations and hikes. The set is microwave safe, dishwasher safe and if it falls into the water: it floats.
The new MealKit Bio from Light my Fire is available at outdoor stores and web shops. Consumer recommended price is € 29.50. There is also a 6-piece set available. This one doesn’t have the Pack-up-Cup and cutting board/strainer and retails for € 21,50.
