According to the creators, the Helinox Cot One Convertible is the ultimate pleasure when it comes to sleeping on holiday. On this newfangled stretcher you sleep a bit above the ground on every spot on our nature. The Helinox Cot One Convertible is so light and has such a small pakmaat that you can easily bring it to all your sleeping destinations. And he’s also for really long people!
Stretcher Benefits
The advantages of a piece above the ground sleep are diverse. You have much less burden from insects and other small animals. In addition, a wet and cold soil has less influence on your bed. And finally it doesn’t matter if the ground is not completely flat or there are sharp pebbles, pine apples or branches underneath your mattress.
Helinox Cot One Convertible DAC Sticks
To put the Cot One Convertible together, slide the two anodized DAC aluminium sticks in the longitudinal direction through the Fabric mattress section. As with the other Helinox products (see my previous tests of the Helinox Chair one and the Helinox Table one) the sticks with elastic are joined together and they almost slide in the rubber couplers when you shake the sticks a bit back and forth. After this you place the three legs across. They also form the clamping mechanism.
Sizes
The Helinox Cot One Convertible is available in 2 sizes. Besides the regular version that is 190 cm long, there is also a more luxurious version for long people who are 210 cm long. You can also use the Cot One Convertible in 2 heights. The ordinary transverse legs provide a bed that is 17 cm above the ground. If you prefer to sleep even higher, you can click 12 extra aluminium legs under the three cross legs, making your bed 38 cm high. Fine when standing up (and you really wake up when you fall out of your bed)….
The recommended prices for the Cot One Convertible are €340 for the regular version and €360 for the long version.
