The IAMRUNBOX Backpack Pro 2.0 is a backpack for commuters that like to run to work and back. The backpack participated in the Scandinavian Outdoor Award for Fall/Winter 2022/2023 and I was able to have a first look at it on my favorite trailrun. Enjoy the video!
IAMRUNBOX Backpack Pro 2.0
Being a jury-member of the Scandinavian Outdoor Award (SOA) has its benefits. Like in this case. Because of the SOA I had some new products for Fall/Winter 2022/2023 send to my house and the IAMRUNBOX Backpack Pro 2.0 was one of them. Since I always work from home or outdoors, I might not be the right person to test it but with some imagination I do get it. And it is still a backpack and about backpack… I do know a fair bit.
Mistakes
In the place where I live I have a wonderful trailrun and I took the IAMRUNBOX out for a 15 km run and I took the DJI Pocket 2 with me to record a video. Since I only had the possibility to test the running pack one day, it’s not a review but a First Look vlog. At first I did not want to publish the video since in the haste I made some mistakes in shooting. I am not telling which ones, you’ll have to watch the video for this. After running last week with my running pack, I decided to edit the video because there is something to learn.
About Scandinavian Outdoor Award
Twice a year the Scandinavian Outdoor Award are held: one for the spring/summer products and one for fall/winter. The SOA is an initiative of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group, about 60+ companies from Scandinavia that operate together on a number of ways. Before the pandemic the Jury-meetings were connected to the Outdoor by ISPO-trade show and most meetings we had in nearby Kleinwalsertal in Austria. Because of the pandemic the jury-meetings were all held online and we tested at home. For this Scandinavian Outdoor Award for Fall/Winter 2022/2023 jury meeting we got back to the cradle since the first jury meetings were held in Scandinavia. I took the IAMRUNBOX Backpack Pro 2.0 with me so my jury-colleagues could test the running pack too. More on the SOA here and more on the Award Winners here.
